This is just a reminder, the Elementary Awards Assembly will be tomorrow, May 18, 2021.
PK and 1st Grade at 9:00 a.m.
2nd and 3rd Grade at 10:00 a.m.
4th and 5th Grade at 1:00 p.m.
Also, the Kindergarten Graduation will be tomorrow evening, May 18, 2021 starting at 6:30 p.m.
These two events will be in the High School Gym. COVID protocols will be mask recommended and social distancing.
Due to the uncertainty of the weather we will be having the High School Graduation in the Ed Harman Gymnasium. Graduation will begin at 7:00pm on Friday the 21st. COVID protocols will be mask recommended and social distancing. Thank you and congratulations to all seniors!
Just a reminder that the Middle and High School Awards Ceremonies will be Wednesday at 9:00 and 1:00 respectively.

The Field Day shirts for every student will be handed out tomorrow before the events begin.
This is just a reminder that our Elementary Field Day is tomorrow for
Pre-K and Kindergarten starting at 9:30. Followed by the 1st and 2nd Grade at 12:30.
We are hoping the rain will end. However, there is a 14% chance of rain tomorrow. If it is raining the activities for the students will be moved inside. The down side to this is that due to CDC guidelines our gym is not big enough to maintain the social distancing that is required, and unfortunately parents will not be allowed to come in. If this happens we have someone who will be taking pictures.
If it is not raining then we will have the Field Day outside as planned. If you would send a change of clothes to school with your child in case they get muddy, then they will have dry clothes to change into after the events.
Students who are currently enrolled in 4th and 5th Grade who are interested in playing sports for the 2021-2022 school will need a Physical. Maud School will be offering Physicals on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 10:30. Forms for Physicals will be sent home on Monday, May 10, 2021. Students who bring their form back along with the $10 Physical fee will be transported on a bus to the High School to have their Physical. If you have any questions please call the Elementary Office.

Tuesday, May 11, 2021 - 4th Nine Weeks AR Party for those students who have met their AR goal for the 4th Nine Weeks.
Wednesday, May 12, 2021 - PK/KG Field Day starting @ 9:30.
1st/2nd Grade Field Day starting @ 12:30. We will have a concession stand. Parents are invited to attend. Please wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
Thursday, May 13, 2021 - 3rd - 5th Grade Field Day starting at 9:30 until 11:00 (lunch time) and then from 1:00-2:30. We will have a concession stand. Parents are invited to attend. Please wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
Friday, May 14, 2021 - Our last virtual Friday for the year. Please help ensure your child has cleared their school issued device of any photos, screen shots, or videos they may have taken. Please return all school issued IPads with charging cords and cubes, Chromebooks with charging cords, and Hot Spots with charging cords back to school on Monday, May 17, 2021.

Gordon Cooper will be offering the COVID vaccine to the public this Thursday 4/29 from 9 am- 3 pm in the CJES building (Enterprise room)-first come first serve (no appointment necessary). This vaccine is given to any employees, family members, students, and community members that are above the age of 18. Moderna is the vaccine that will be given.
Baseball Districts have been scheduled for Tuesday April 22nd at Moss. The games will start at 2:00 and 4:00, weather permitting. GO TIGERS!!!
Baseball boys game tomorrow has been moved up to 1:00 p.m. due to lack of teams in the tournament.

This is just a reminder that Maud Public Schools will not be in session on Friday, April 2, 2021 and Monday, April 5, 2021 for Easter. School will resume at normal time on Tuesday, April 6, 2021.
