This is just a reminder that Maud Public School will be closed Monday, March 15, 2021 through Friday, March 19, 2021 for Spring Break. Classes will resume at normal time on Monday, March 22, 2021.

We will have our HS Homecoming Ceremony and Senior Night recognition for our HS Basketball team next Tuesday at 4:00 in the Ed Harmon Gymnasium. That is March 2nd at 4:00. It will also be the home opener for the baseball teams with the Jr High taking the field at 4:30. Thank you for your continued support of our Maud student athletes.
Preparations have been made to account for the lack of water in the city of Maud. Classes will continue as planned on Tuesday. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call.
Maud schools will continue to be closed Thursday and Friday. There will be no virtual assignments. In person classes are scheduled to resume on Monday February 22.
Maud Schools will be closed Tuesday February 16 and Wednesday February 17, due to extreme weather conditions.

This is just a reminder that if your child needs help with any assignment during Distance Learning, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher at school.
Due to Distance Learning the Valentine's Day parties for PK-5th Grade will be postponed until Thursday, February 18, 2021.
Maud Elementary will be having Parent/Teacher Conferences by telephone on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 and Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases and reports, the game against Wayne on Monday has been cancelled. Right now we still plan on being able to play District games at New Lima on the 11th and 12th. Thank you for your continued understanding and support.

After intense contact tracing and confirmation of positive Covid cases in the district, Maud Public Schools will move to Distance Learning until February 16th effective immediately. Buses will run at 12:00 pm today.
Maud school has been notified of a positive case of covid in the 7th grade class and in the 8th grade class. To allow time for contract tracing, we ask that if your child is in the 7th grade or 8th grade that you do not send them to school tomorrow. The administration will be contacting you tomorrow with more details.

Boys will play at Wapanucka next Tuesday night at 6:30.
Basketball updates!! Boys will play at Stratford Friday Night at 7:00. Boys will play at Maysville Saturday at 4:00. Next weeks game at home against Haileyville has been canceled due to COVID on their part. We have moved the Wayne game from next Friday the 5th to Monday the 8th at 6:30. This game will be Homecoming at 5:30 and will also be senior night. We are in the process of looking for a boys game for next week. Thank you for all your understanding and support!
Clarification: It is the High School Girls Team that has been exposed.
We have just received word that the Maud Girls Basketball Team was exposed to the COVID virus. All of the girls played Saturday, so all will be quarantined. Because of this, the girls game scheduled for tonight will be cancelled. The coaches and boys were not close enough to the player to be exposed. Unfortunately, we will have to postpone homecoming that was scheduled for tonight. Not related to COVID, the boys game has been cancelled as well. Thank you for your support and understanding.
