Good evening, Although regular school will be in session tomorrow, January 29, 2026, the 21st CCLC Before-School and After-School Program will not be in session due to the forecasted temperatures during those times. This decision was made to ensure the safety of our students, parents, and staff. Learning Enrichment Packets will be sent home with students tomorrow at 3:15 p.m. Thank you, and have a good evening.

We are planning to be in school Thursday, January 29th. There will be no penalty for late arrivals. Buses will run normal routes but may not be able to reach every stop, particularly, those on county roads. All basketball games scheduled for tomorrow have been cancelled. Please continue to be safe and warm.

Maud Public Schools will be virtual on Wednesday, January 28th.

Tuesday, January 27 will be a virtual day (No School). All activities have been cancelled.

Due to forecasted winter weather expected on Friday, January 23, 2026, the 21st CCLC Before School Program will remain in session; however, the After School Program will be dismissed. This decision has been made to ensure the safety of our students, families, and staff by allowing adequate time for safe travel before road conditions deteriorate. With the risk of winter weather ahead, the HS basketball tournament at Stonewall has been moved to Wed, Thurs, Fri. Please see attached brackets for updates.

This message is to share a few important reminders for Maud Elementary Parents:

•The 21st CCLC Before School and After School Program will not be in session on Monday, January 19, 2026, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

• Snack Day will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026. Snacks will be available for students to purchase, with prices ranging from $1.00 to $2.00.

• Maud Elementary is selling Valentine’s Day Box Treats and Dirty Soda Kits. Orders will be delivered to Maud Elementary and distributed on February 12, 2026. The deadline to order is February 4, 2026. Maud Elementary will receive 20% of the total sales.
