This is a reminder that tomorrow, October 22, 2025, the 3rd‑ and 4th‑grade basketball team will play their first home game, starting at 9:30 a.m., against Asher. If your child will be playing and has any medical condition we should be aware of, please contact the Elementary Office before the game.
Please note that the 21st Century After School Program will not be in session on Thursday, October 23, 2025. Instead, we will celebrate Lights On After School during the Fall Carnival from 6:00–8:00 p.m. Have a great evening!

Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are excited to announce that the Elementary School will host a Costume Contest during our upcoming Fall Carnival. Participants of all ages, from birth to adult, are encouraged to join in the fun. Additionally, we will feature a Pumpkin Decorating Contest, so please feel free to come dressed in your costumes and bring your decorated pumpkins.
The entry fee for each contest is $1.00. We look forward to welcoming you to the Fall Carnival on October 23, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

The high school football game schedule for Thursday, October 16th at Midway has been cancelled by Midway due to a lack of players.

Allow us to introduce the September Students of the Month. For September, our theme was School Spirit! We couldn't have picked a better group! This Friday, October 10, 2025, Maud Public School will host its Homecoming Parade. The parade will commence at the High School at 2:40 PM, proceeding down Main Street and passing by the Elementary School, providing an opportunity for all our students to enjoy the floats.
We kindly ask that parents picking up their children from school refrain from parking on Young Street (south side) until 3:10 PM. This will help maintain a clear path for the floats.

We kindly ask that you do not pull into the employee parking lot to pick up your child. Our primary concern is the safety of all children, as there is a risk of them running into the path of a moving vehicle or a vehicle that may be backing up.
After students finish their snack in the cafeteria, teachers will escort them to the south entrance for pickup. Your child's safety is our top priority.
Thank you for your understanding.

Cross Country Updates! Tomorrow's meet at Lexington has been cancelled. Next week Cross Country travels to Checotah on Tuesday, 10/7 and Mason on Saturday, 10/11. Good luck Tigers!

Thursday 10/2/2025 our High School team takes on Sasakwa at home, 7:00 start! The pep assembly on Thursday 10/2/2025 will begin at 2:50 and the DRESS UP THEME FOR THE GAME IS SURFERS vs BIKERS! We would like to inform you that your child will be bringing home a letter and a form on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, pertaining to the 21st Century After School Program. Should you choose to complete the form, please ensure that it is returned by Friday, October 3, 2025. The completed form will enter your child into a drawing for the following prizes: one gift card valued at $20.00 and two gift cards valued at $10.00 each.

Each month throughout the school year, both the middle school and high school have two students selected as student of the month. This award is one that is voted on by teachers and staff. Fall Carnival, DATE CHANGE!
The Oklahoma Caring Van will be on site, 11/3/2025 from 10:00am-12:00 to give free flu shots or other immunizations if needed. The van will begin at the elementary and then travel to the middle school/high school. This will be available to anyone, staff, parents, community members, etc. They are also scheduled April 9th 10:00am-12:00pm in preparation for the next school year. i.e. 6th grade students would be eligible for TDAP boosters which are needed for 7th grade entry.
