Our 1st and 2nd Grade classes in our 21st Century After School Program had a great time learning about Math in their cooking class yesterday with Sarah Nance.
Ms. Whitehill entered a Crayola Creativity Contest and won! She is planning to use all of the items she won in the 21st Century After School Program. Congratulations Ms. Whitehill!
Maud Elementary will dismiss their 21st Century After School Program on Thursday, December 15, 2022 so our teachers can prepare for the Elementary Christmas Program that evening. The Christmas Program will be in the High School Gym and will start at 6:00 p.m. All students need to be in the gym at 5:30 p.m. (Students will be sitting with their teachers on the west side of the gym, while our guests and parents will sit on the east side of the gym. Our PTO will be purchasing specific t-shirts for your child to wear as part of a costume. We ask that your child dress in a pair of jeans with no holes in them and closed toe shoes.
Thursday, December 8, 2022 will be Polar Express Day in the Elementary. Students may wear their pajamas to school. Have your child wear their regular shoes, no house shoes please.
We will also be having our class Christmas Parties on December 8, 2022. Class parties will start at 2:00 p.m.
Our 5th and 6th Grade Basketball Team will play Monday, December 5, 2022. The game will start at 4:30 p.m. in the High School gym. We will be playing against Wetumka.

The games scheduled at Weleetka on Thursday have been moved to 4:00 PM at home before the high school games on December 2, 2022. The 5/6 basketball teams will not have games that night.
Our 3rd and 4th Grade Basketball team will have a basketball game on Wednesday, November 30th at Asher. The game will start at 9:00 a.m.

All Elementary students will ride the bus to the High School gym for a Veterans Day Assembly tomorrow, November 10, 2022 at 9:15 a.m.
There is no school on Friday, November 11, 2022 for Veterans Day.
Picture day will be Monday, November 14, 2022 starting at 8:00 a.m.

We will have our annual Veterans Day assembly on Thursday, November 10th at 9:15 AM. All veterans are welcome to attend and are welcome to stay for refreshments following the assembly. Thank you for your service!

There is a permission for publishing form being sent out today for the Afterschool Program. The consent form is giving our 21st Century After School Program your permission to publish your child’s picture on our school website, the 21st CCLC Facebook page, and our school’s Facebook page. Please send the form back to Mrs. Tollison by Thursday, November 10, 2022.
The 3rd & 4th Grade will have a basketball game on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Maud in the HS Gym. It was on the schedule for 10:00 a.m. however, the time has been changed to 9:30 a.m.
The 5th & 6th Grade Basketball Festival that was scheduled for November 2-5 at Konawa has been cancelled due to not having enough teams to have the festival.
To support our football team who will be playing against Bowlegs on Thursday, November 3, 2022, all Elementary students in grades 1st through 5th will ride the bus to the football game and back to the Elementary School. Parents of students in PK and KG may pick up their child and take them to the football game and they will not be counted absent. There will no admission fee for students. However, there will be a concession stand if students would like to bring money. Go Tigers!
